THE ART OF PERANAKAN DINING SEMINAR & HIGH TEA AT PERANAKAN MUSEUM

I was invited to the Art of Peranakan Dining Seminar & High Tea held at Peranakan Museum in conjunction with Singapore Heritage Festival and Singapore Food Festival.

Mr Peter Wee, Vice President of Peranakan Association and Katong Antique House Owner & Curator, Ms Violet Oon, Singapore’s Food Ambassador and Celebrity Chef and Mr Randall Ee, curator of Peranakan Museum took us on an exhilarating journey and shared with us their vast knowledge of Peranakan Heritage , Cultures and Values and Peranakan Dining.

Violet shared with us her knowledge of Peranakan Heritage and in particular, Perankan Dining and the ingredients used in Peranakan cooking.

It was an enriching afternoon with delicious traditional Peranakan high-tea and the seminar ended with a wonderfully amazing rich heritage  tour at the Peranakan Museum.
