Elle Magazine Singapore held a Spring Style workshop with Fashion Stylists from Dorothy Perkins sharing pointers on the latest fashion, achieving luscious lashes by eye lash extensions from Carragheen and Spring makeup demonstration by the Make Up Store held at Desire Restaurant, The Scarlet Hotel.
The Style Workshop kickoff with Stylists from Dorothy Perkins showing the trendy staples and how to accessorize to glam it up. Add a scarf, vest cardigan or blazer to dress up a sundress or casual outfits. Accessorize with belts, clutches and eye catching earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

Make up Store Spring Collection 5ifties retro inspired makeup- demo. The 50s makeup emphasis strongly on the eyes with lots of mascara and fair radiant look. Jeraldine, the Make Up Artist from the Make Up Store first prep the model’s skin with a primer to ensure even and long lasting makeup. Next, Jeraldine applied foundation before dusting on loose powder to set the base and use eyebrow powder to fill in her brows.
Jeraldine used 3 eye shadow, a light beige as a highlighter, a medium color and dark colour to create gradient and lastly an eye liner to line the model’s eyes. Next, she uses Make Up Store heated Eye lash curler which gives the lashes a natural curl and 2 coats of mascaras to open up the eyes/
A swirl of bright pink blusher and fill in pink lipstick and top it off with a glossy gloss for the day.
To change from Day makeup to a glam Night makeup, simply use darker and shimmery shades to emphasis more on your eye makeup and you are ready to paint the town red !
