PRINCESS BEATRICE HAT SIGHTED AT THE ROYAL WEDDING SOLD FOR £81,100 WITH PROCEEDS DONATED TO UNICEF AND CHILDREN IN CRISIS CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS

Princess Beatrice’s hat designed by Philip Treacy have garnered much attention during The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Princess Beatrice, grand daughter to The Queen and cousin to Prince William wore the fancy pink silk fascinator and created extreme buzz and fuss for donning the eclectic hat to the extent of raising £81,000 (S$162,200) on her eBay auction page.

The design of the hat have been compared to resemble butterfly, uterus and even toilet seat.

The sale proceeds from the famous hat will benefit Princess Beatrice choice of charities, UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
