UNIQLO Save Japan! UT T-shirts limited edition designed by 10 globally renowned celebrities including Lady Gaga, Karl Lagerfeld, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham, Blake Lively, Alber Elbaz, Orlando Bloom, Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Patrow and Cyndi Lauper are launched at UNIQLO stores worldwide on June 25 at S$24.90 (USD19.90). The proceeds from the line are expected to amount to 100 million yen will be donated to help individuals affected by the March 11th Great East Japan Earthquake.
The Save Japan! UT Project was made possible with help from the Condé Nast Group, the publisher of Vogue Japan and GQ Japan. UNIQLO has undertaken the project with Condé Nast, a co-sponsor of the disaster relief information website Save Japan!, which was launched soon after the earthquake to supply information on area-specific relief efforts. Condé Nast has gathered the 10 celebrity messages to be carried on these limited edition T-shirts.
