AUDI STAR CREATION 2012 TOP 12 aspiring Fashion designers finalists from 7 countries including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Thailand have been confirmed for Asia Fashion Exchange 2012 fashion design competition.
Handpicked from 255 submissions from 13 regional countries, the 12 finalist will present their collections on the runway based on the theme “Fashion Without Frontiers” on May 14 at Tent@Orchard at Ngee Ann City to a panel of 7 Judges, including Mr Douglas Benjamin, CEO of FJ Benjamin (Singapore), Mr Colin McDowell, Creative Director of the Audi Fashion Festival, Mr David Wang, Audi Star Creation Spokesman and Vice President of Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFf) and Jo Soh from hansel.
Three of the 12 Star Creation finalists will stand to win $10,000 cash prize from Audi Singapore, a one-year internship with leading fashion retailer FJ Benjamin and the chance to develop a capsule collection that will be launched at Audi Star Creation 2013. Further, Audi Young Designer Award (AYDA) – an additional $10,000 cash prize will be awarded to the collection best embodies Audi’s design spirit of innovation, technology and progression.

- Eugenice Chen, 20, Singapore, Jaslin Ong, 21, Singapore
- Kim Mina, 24, South Korea, Kim Soo-Jeong, 25, South Korea
- Kim Yong Woo, 27, South Korea, Ko Youngji, 32, South Korea
Audi Star Creation 2012 is one of Singapore key fashion event, together with Audi Fashion Festival Singapore, BLUEPRINT and Asia Fashion Summit are part of Asia Fashion Exchange 2012 which will take place in Singapore from 14th to 20th May, covering all aspects of the fashion industry from consumer events to trade shows to business conferences and talent development programmes.
