Award-winning private home museum and member of National Heritage Board’s Museum Roundtable - The Intan will exhibit carefully curated Peranakan and vintage items from different private collectors at the exquisite ambience during The Collectors’ Sale at 69 Joo Chiat Terrace, on March 10 to 11.
Peranakan enthusiasts and cultural collectors will be spoilt for choices for appreciation of the antiques collection and they will have the opportunity to bring home authentic colorful Peranakan porcelain nyonyaware, hand embroidered tapestries, beaded shoes, batiks, rose cut intan and diamond jewellery pieces and many other interesting pieces on sale by the private collectors.
The Collectors’ Sale aims to grow the Peranakan collectors’ community by providing a platform for networking and knowledge sharing, highlighting the importance of heritage through Peranakan’s unique and multi-faceted culture.
