Street culture convention Culture Cartel 2025 fifth edition returns with Culture Cartel exclusive collaborations and merchandise with CASETiFY, Monsoon Patrol, SBTG, ToyQube Astro Boy, Limited Edt. showcase and LE Depot of special collaborations, limited edition sneakers, Culture Cartel Tattoo Con and Culture Cartel Vault.
This year’s theme, “ICONS Uprising”, underscores the event’s mission to push creative boundaries, uniting the living legends who shaped the scene and the new icons defining its future. Bigger and better this year, there are more first-time participating artists and exclusive drops as it converges art, fashion, music, tattoo and toys at Singapore Expo Hall 5, from 17 to 19 January.
Spanning an expansive 100,000 sq ft of hall space, there are over 80 brands for a subculture experience featuring immersive experiences, global collaborations, and exclusive firsts.
Here are some of Culture Cartel 2025 highlights:
Asics – The Gel-Kinetic Fluent Sneaker was showcased exclusively here, it is priced at $259 and will retail at Asics stores and online in February.
The innovative shoe combines heritage design with modern materials and technologies such as Scutoid Gel and FF Blast Plus Eco cushioning materials.
Puma – Discover the Puma Speedcat in various colourways at the booth. The shoe, pulled out of the Puma archive for its 25th anniversary, features a racing-inspired silhouette that is both trendy and iconic.
BMW – The German luxury car manufacturer BMW’s showcase is the bespoke BMW M4 Car Wrap, an exclusive collaboration between Performance Motors Singapore and popular artist Nicky Diamonds.
White Rabbit - Hao Food SG, the authorised distributor of the all-time favourite White Rabbit candy, has launched a White Rabbit Bubble Tea series made with the authentic White Rabbit milk, for the first time. Try the ice cream and soju, which pairs surprisingly well with the candy.
Culture Cartel Vault – Out in full force were special exhibits - the never-before-seen Star Wars collection by Elim Chew; Singapore’s largest Hello Kitty collection owned by Singaporean collector, Sofie Chandra; and the world’s most extensive Stussy Tribe Jacket Collection by Alex Turnbull (@alexturnbull23).
Tattoo icons – Renowned international tattoo artists take centre stage, including highly-sought after Japanese tattoo artist, Gakkin (@gakkinx) who brings his modern fusion interpretation of traditional Japanese tattoos that results in a new, bold form of imagery and storytelling; and award-winning Texas-based Russian tattoo artist, Valentina Riabova (@val_tatboo), who is lauded for her stunningly realistic, custom designs.
