CHANEL COLLECTION CAGE DOREE DE CHANEL CHRISTMAS PARTY & MAKE UP DEMO BY CELEBRITY MAKE UP ARTIST, CLARENCE LEE

I attended Chanel Christmas 2009 Collection Christmas Party and Make Up Demonstration by Celebrity Make Up Artist, Mister Clarence Lee .
Clarence shared with us that the Chanel Christmas Collection Star item, Les 4 Ombres 15 Bird of Paradise ($83), an eye shadow quad is a departure from the smoky or shimmering eye shadows as seen in most brands. Chanel have taken a bold step to include a lovely iridescent turquoise, a pale yellow gold, light copper and a emerald green for her Christmas Collection as inspired by Chanel’s curios, a miniature cage set with turquoise-colored stones encases 2 tiny birds with emerald eyes and bodies of white pearl.

As Clarence have done the base make up for the model already, he then proceed to start on the eye make up. Clarence mentioned that he like to use his fingers for easy application and blending for the 1st eyes shadow color he used on the model.

Clarence used an eye brush to apply the 2nd  and 3rd eye color. Next he uses La Ligne De Chanel in Celadon-Lame , an eye liner in black and shimmery black green . The black liner is meant to be used wet. Use a damp eyeliner brush to pick up some colour and then use the green shimmery black to line your eyes.

Finally he uses the 4th eye shadow color to line the lower eye and to an eyelash curler to curl the lashes .

Clarence used Chanel inimitable mascara (S$46) and shared that to apply the mascara, always apply in sections and give a little jiggle on to hold the lashes up. Hold the mascara brush vertically to apply mascara on your lower lashes .

Clarence used light feathery strokes to fill in the eyebrows for a more groomed look.

A quick brush of Les Tissages Lames (S$82), a limited edition highlighter for a lovely illuminating soft scintillating glow and a dab of rouge allure lacquer (S$49)to complete the look. Magnifique !
