EARTH HOUR ~ CAPITALAND LIGHTS OUT PARTY AT ION ORCHARD AND FUND RAISING FOR CANOSSAVILLE CHILDREN’S HOME
THANK YOU ALL my friends and my dear readers who have supported EARTH HOUR one way or another, either by doing your bit for the environment or pledging towards EARTH HOUR. 5340 Pledges were collected online and around 1650 offline. As a gesture of goodwill, CAPITLAND will donate S$20,000 to Canossaville Children’s Home to improve their premise living conditions and make it a greener place to live in.
I attended the Earth Hour at ION Orchard, organized by CapitaLand . The Lights-Out party is a get together to create awareness for Earth Hour and to practice a greener lifestyle whenever possible.
The party started out with performances, song and dance, video shoots of people around the world share their views on Earth Hour and pledging to do their part.
As Earth Hour approaches at 8.30pm, more than 180 facade lights of CapitaLand properties around the world are switched off. Notice the dim facade of ION Orchard? More performances in the dark.
Thanks again for pledging, If you have joined me for the Earth Hour Lights Out Party at ION Orchard last night, do remember to utilize your Sephora Voucher by end of the month and enjoy your goodies bag !
