As part of
Leica Camera Store first Anniversary celebration at
Raffles Hotel Arcade , Taiwanese rock singer Wu Bai was in Singapore to grace Leica D-LUX 5 Titanium camera launch at his More Earth photography exhibition, shot entirely with the Leica M6 and M7 with the 28mm f/2 M Summicron lens, the first time his work is showcase outside Taiwan.
Singapore is the first stop for Wu Bai’s travelling photography exhibition which is slated to make its rounds across South East Asia, aiming to raise the public’s ecological awareness and draw the viewers’ attention to the beauty of Earth and the environment.
Mr Sunil Kaul, Managing Director of Leica Camera Asia Pacific presented Wu Bai with a special edition camera, the Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium, which was unveiled for the first time in South East Asia and will roll out across neighbouring countries in the coming months.
The
Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium compact camera is impressively elegant in design and include a fast zoom lens from 24 to 90 mm (35 mm equivalent focal length) with 720 pixel HD video function.
Fourteen black-and-white prints will be on display in the gallery and selected prints of Wu Bai’s photography exhibition will be sold at the Leica Store @ Raffles Hotel Arcade.
Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium is priced at S$1595 and Leica Camera X Wu Bai More Earth photography exhibition will run from now till 2nd December 2011 at
