FENDI TAIPEI FATTO A MANO FOR THE FUTURE AT TAIPEI 101 MALL

FENDI Fatto A Mano For the Future  (made by hand in Italian) Taiwan is a  a grand showcase between the Fendi artisan and Taiwan Metalwork Artist Cai Yishan (蔡依珊). Representing a merging of heritage and future in a world of tradition and experimentation, it emphasizes creativity with function and research shown clearly in fashion and design.

Last May, Fendi Fatto A Mano For the Future made its first stop in South East Asia, Singapore and in Hong Kong last month, following a series of successful features in London, New York, Rome, Milan, Seoul and Hangzhou.

GAP KIDS BABYGAP CASTNG CALL 2011 IN SINGAPORE / INDONESIA / MALAYSIA

GapKids and  babyGap Singapore , Malaysia and Indonesia casting call kicks off this November to search for the new faces of GapKids and babyGap to grace the regional store windows of GapKids and babyGap for Spring 2012 stores. Casting will take place at  Galleria Foyer, Suntec City in Singapore this weekend.

Last December, F J Benjamin became the first Gap Inc. franchisee to adapt and introduce the Gap Casting Call, a popular annual nationwide contest by Gap Inc. in North America. The inaugural Gap Casting Call in South-east Asia attracted a combined total of over 1,900 entries and 300,000 votes on Facebook voting site. 

Together with scores from an internal panel of judges from F J Benjamin Lifestyle,  Jerry Chew and Dyanna Erkek from Singapore, Mohammad Ezra and Jarrod Lee from Malaysia and Janina Joesoef and Medina Yavuz from Indonesia emerged as winners and graced Spring 2011 window displays of  GapKids and babyGap stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Gap Casting Call 2011 will take place at  Galleria Foyer, Suntec City. Parents meeting a minimum qualifying spend of S$100 will be encouraged to enter their children to this contest (from newborns to 10 years of age). Photographs taken by GAP will be uploaded at facebook.com/gapsingapore and narrowed down to the Top 100 spread across four categories – Boys, Girls, Baby Boys and Baby Girls.

Public voting starts 25 November till 25 December.  An internal judging panel from F J Benjamin together with Gap representatives will select  6 final winners in February 2012 and  be featured on the Spring 2012 window displays of all babyGap and GapKids stores in all three countries.
