Global superstar and platinum selling singer/songwriter, Ke$ha, partnered fashion-forward Baby-G brand, launching two Ke$ha designed watches – Animal print model CASIO BG-5600KS-7 and All-American CASIO BGA-200KS-1E.
As ambassador for the popular watch line, the singer uses her iconic imagery and one-of-a-kind style to develop this season's most exciting wrist wear adorned with Ke$ha's signature "Ke$ha" logo in Animal print and All-American print.
"I've been designing and making my own clothes since I was young, and, as an artist, I design all of my stage costumes," said Ke$ha. "This experience with Casio is so exciting because it's my first collaboration as a designer and it's extra meaningful because I wrote my first single "TiK ToK" on a Casio keyboard.
The leopard print pattern on the watch's face for BGA200KS-1E with its black resin strap harkens to Ke$ha's wild side, imagery and style. Shock resistant and 100M water resistant, it is equipped with an LED Light, world time from 48 cities and 29 time zones, a daily alarm, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, 12/24 hour formats and a mute function.
“Leopard print is another recurring theme in my look, which I like to wear because it brings out my animal inside. I hope when people wear my watches they're reminded to express themselves always and never lose the animal inside themselves."
Features the colors and shapes of the American Flag's imagery with red, white and blue complete with stars, Ke$ha created the patriotic BG5600KS-7 model with 100M water and shock resistance, EL backlight with afterglow, 48-city world time, four daily alarms and one snooze, countdown timer, 1/100 second stopwatch, mute function and 12/24 hour formats.
“In creating my red, white and blue watch, I was obviously inspired by the American flag because it's a recurring theme in my aesthetic but also represents freedom of speech, a right I passionately exercise in my life and in my music.”
