OLD HONG KONG LEGEND WINTER SOLSTICE 2012 CANTONESE FEAST MENU HIGHLIGHTS

Plum Tea 酸梅开胃茶, a sweet and sour tea made from dark plums, hawthorn, liquorice and wheat reduces body heat and aids in digestion.

Old Hong Kong Legendary Red Garoupa with Golden Mushrooms 經典紅班肉夾金針菇

2 generously sliced fresh flavoursome flesh of Red Garoupa fillet are sandwiched between golden mushrooms, toped with Old Hong Kong special X0 sauce, highlighting the sweetness of the fresh fish leaves you hungry for more!

Old Hong Kong Legend Stewed "Dong Bo" Meat 傳奇東坡肉 is shimmered and stewed to perfection.

Traditionally prepared,  the pork belly are carefully selected for the right amount of flesh and fats.

Soaked and marinated with Huadiao rice wine, soy sauce and vinegar, the pork belly served with freshly steam pancake melts in your mouth.

Old Hong Kong Legend Dried Seafood, Meat and Vegetable Braised Secret Nine Pot 秘制九大簋 is a festive feast of Jade Abalone, Squid, black fungus, bamboo shoots, bean root,  mushrooms, braised Pork belly, fresh meat balls and pig skin are laced generously with  Abalone rich sauce.

Traditionally served in nine individual pots for family reunion and the staple for Winter Solstice Festival, Old Hong Kong Legend combines 9 pots into one flavoursome rich and decadent serving - the ultimate indulgence this season.

Dessert - Okinawa Brown Sugar Rice Ball 沖繩黑糖湯圓 is an essential Winter Solstice food as glutinous rice balls Tang Yuan signifies reunion. Old Hong Kong Legend served freshly made black sesame glutinous rice ball with chunky red bean, ala French dessert style.
