Korean pop star - CL Lee ChaeRin performed 2NE1 popular single - "Lonely" and hip hop rap "Lifted", alongside with BtoB Yook Sung Jae - Korea Drama Award 2017 winner as Best New Actor award and Star of the Year award for his role in Goblin, popular Korean drama at ION Orchard 8th Anniversary gala dinner showcasing Cartier Jewellery watch collection.

 

CL and Yook Sungjae officiated the launch of new ION Sky observation deck on 56th floor where
“Orchard” in Orchard Road comes to life, showcasing the best of Singapore heritage, culture and technology, in collaboration with Cultural Medallion recipient singer songwriter Dick Lee and his creative team.

Chris Chong, CEO of ION Orchard 爱雍·乌节 shared that the ION Orchard new immersive experience begins at level 4 in the elevator where images of nutmeg seeds sprouting and growing tall in a nutmeg plantation against a clear blue sky while onwards to level 56.

 

 

The nutmeg designs reflected on the window pane and frame structure coincidently draws a resemble to famed Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama iconic polka dots mirrored installation.  

 

 

Visitors will be welcomed by a 360-degree multimedia animation show that traces the transformation of Singapore and Orchard Road as the plantations and orchard of yesteryears made way for new developments, revealing a full panoramic view of the current Singapore’s skyline.

At ION Orchard 8th Anniversary press conference, Korean fashion icon, singer-songwriter CL wore Chrome Hearts aviator pink sunglasses with titanium square frame sunglasses adorned with jewelled details, by USA designer Richard Lark, known for bike chic rocker style.
 
CL paired her black stonewashed  bustier dark denim contrast dress and  fur details jacket with eye catching python leather thigh high statement stilettos. 
 

 

Speaking to the press in perfect American accented English, CL is often seen in Harpers Bazaar and INStyle fashion spread, shares that she like to dress up as its a way to express herself. CL seems to favours bold designs, accessories and striking metallic hues nail polish this autumn. CL sang 'No better feelin' , Ost my little pony The movie and had garnered almost one hundred thousand views on YOUTUBE.
 

 

BtoB member Yook Sungjae was excited to discover an observation deck with a birds' eye view, in the heart of famed Singapore shopping street - Orchard road, above ION shopping mall and expresses his interest for fashion and shopping.

Korean heart-throb Yook Sung Jae, winner for Star of the Year award and Best New Actor award at Korea Drama Award 2017 for his role in Goblin, the award winning international Korean drama sang Korean pop song - “Tell me”, Goblin song OST "Who are you”, “Paradise” and "Beautiful" to invited guests, cheering K-dramas fanatics and K-pop crowd.

K-drama Goblin actor Lee Dong Wook, casted as Wong Yeo, grim reaper in the drama,  graced the opening of cult  Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster at ION Orchard, last Tuesday while fellow Goblin actor Yook Sungjae acted as Yook Deok-Hwa, the rich heir performed at ION orchard anniversary fashion concert. Will the next actor, Goblin Gong Lee,  known as Kim Shin, make a visit soon to ION Singapore ?
